About Us

Mission Statement

To provide information to the public with regard to all aspects of cultural, social economic and personal matters: to refer the said public to the appropriate person, agency, corporation, or government body for assistance with such matters.

Community Services and Information Referral

Community Information Fairview collects and disseminates information to the general public, other community agencies and various governmental departments.

Volunteer Board of Directors

The Volunteer Board of Directors is responsible for hiring staff and for the basic policies which affect the operation of the Centre.

Executive Director

The Executive Director is responsible for the day to day management of the Centre.

Staff

The Centre's services are primarily provided by dedicated volunteers from the community and also by co-op and placement students.

History

Serving the community for over 35 years!

Community Information Fairview originated as a project of the Interchurch Community Ministry on June 1st, 1971 and incorporated in 1977. A year later its operation was taken over by a Volunteer Board of Community Residents.
